Krishna Engineers & Consultants has designed a special course "TRAINING ON O&M OF POWER / PROCESS INDUSTRIES".

SCOPE & OBJECTIVES
The course gives insight into the huge potential employment in the field of Power and Process Industries at all levels. The course is of an introductory nature and can prepare for the technical youths who wish to opt for employment in the field of Power and Process Industries. Krishna Engineers & Consultants provides all the backup support for fresh students to engage in different Power and Process Industries. There is job potential for every type of student after completion of the course

The course is framed by taking into account the present day manpower requirements of the Industries. It has been specifically designed for fresh Engineering Diploma/ ITI Holders. This course will add more punch to their CVs and stand out from the crowd of candidates thronging the job market and enhances the job opportunities for the student, who completes the course successfully.

COURSE CONTENT
The course includes lectures, presentations and practicals on Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of Power/Process Industries.

• Understanding of salient features and working principles of distribution, protection and utilization of electrical power in different sectors
• Understanding of constructional details, principle of working, characteristics and application of electrical machines, equipment, appliances and instruments
• Day to day Shift Maintenance, Running Maintenance, Assessment of operating equipment performance and Preventive Maintenance.
• Procedures and Checklists for Erection & Commissioning and Manuals for Operation & Maintenance.
• Operation & Maintenance for Electrical Systems and Industrial facilities.
• Operation & Maintenance for Diesel Generation Distribution.
• Operation and Maintenance of Lines and Sub-stations/underground cables
• Measuring instruments, tools and testing devices for varied field applications
• Electrical Safety measures such as earthing, fire and shock prevention measures adopted in industry and service sector
• Preparation of safety manual, which includes procedure for safety monitoring, safety meetings, accident reporting and accident prevention.

METHODOLOGY
The programme will be conducted through lecture sessions, case studies, discussions and audio visual aids. Highlight of the discussions would be that all the participants would be given opportunity to interact with the faculty on their energy efficiency related issues to solicit expert feedback/ recommendations.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:
ITI/DIPLOMA in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation.

DURATION OF COURSE:
Course duration is 6 (SIX) Months. The commencement date is October and April.

ADMISSIONS AND EXAMINATIONS:
A Maximum of 30 students will be admitted for program. Selection is purely on first come first serve basis. A written test will be conducted at the end of the course.

PLACEMENT:
Placement may be considered in various Industries through our placement agents based at different industrial location of the country after successfully completion of the course, based on individual’s performance and requirements from time to time.

HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO PAY:
The course fees are Rs.10, 000=00. Course will be conducted for minimum 10 candidates.

MODE OF PAYMENTS
You can pay the fees either by Cash/Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Krishna Engineers & Consultants, payable at Bhubaneswar. Completed Application Form along with requisite fees should reach at the following address before seven days of commencing the programme. Name of the trainee & course must be written on the reverse side of the DD on pencil.
